DuoShot Privacy Policy

DuoShot (“the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information and device permissions DuoShot uses and how they are handled.

1. Information We Collect

DuoShot does not require account registration or login and does not independently collect or transmit personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or location to a server.

To provide its core features, DuoShot may request access to your device's camera, photo library, and microphone.

2. Camera

DuoShot uses camera access to provide photo and video capture features.

Photos and videos captured through DuoShot are processed and saved according to your actions and are not transmitted to servers operated by the developer of DuoShot.

3. Photo Library

DuoShot may access your photo library to save photos and videos captured using the App and to provide related photo features.

Your photos and videos are managed on your device and within the Apple photo library environment you use. DuoShot does not upload or store your photos or videos on its own servers.

4. Microphone

DuoShot uses microphone access to record audio when recording videos.

Recorded audio is processed as part of the captured video and is not transmitted to servers operated by the developer of DuoShot.

5. Language and App Settings

DuoShot may store certain preferences, such as your selected app language, locally on your device.

These preferences are used to maintain your app settings and are not used to identify you.

6. Sharing and External Transmission

DuoShot does not sell personal information collected through the App.

DuoShot does not use its own servers to collect your photos, videos, or audio or provide them to third parties.

Data handled through iOS, iCloud Photos, or other Apple services may be processed according to Apple's policies and your device settings.

7. Analytics and Advertising

DuoShot currently does not use advertising SDKs for user tracking or third-party analytics SDKs.

If these features are introduced in the future and change how information is handled, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Because DuoShot does not collect or store personal information, photos, videos, or audio on its own servers, it does not maintain a server-based retention or deletion system for such data.

You can manage or delete photos and videos through the iOS Photos app and your device settings.

Locally stored app preferences may be removed when the App is deleted.

9. Managing Permissions

You can change or revoke DuoShot's access to the camera, photos, and microphone at any time through iOS Settings.

If a required permission is not granted, certain features of the App may not be available.

10. Children's Privacy

DuoShot does not intentionally collect users' personal information through its own servers.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the App's features or data practices change.

If material changes are made, appropriate notice will be provided.
